Core Beliefs

Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (Jesus the Christ) is the Messiah of Israel and of all Creation.

All things were created by Yeshua.

God the Father, Yeshua, and the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) make up the eternal Godhead.

Yeshua was born of a virgin, lead a sinless life, and died on the execution stake (cross).

His death on the execution stake paid the sin debt of all that accept Him.

Yeshua was physically resurrected on the third day.

He sits at the right hand of the Father with all authority and power.

To truly believe in Yeshua, each person must personally accept Him as Savior and Lord.

He will physically return for His own and reclaim the earth.

Jewish Roots of belief in Messiah

Nothing can be more Jewish than believing in Yeshua (Jesus).  The culture that the Scriptures of the Tanakh (Old Testament) and B'rit Hadasha (New Testament) were written in were totally Jewish.  A full and complete understanding of the scripture requires an understanding of the writer's Jewish roots.

Doctrine

Doctrine is not a dirty word.  Rabbi Sha'ul (Paul) commands us to have sound doctrine and to not be swayed to and fro.  It is our belief that most in the church have little understanding of doctrine, somehow seeing it as "wrong" or merely parroting-back what they hear.  Some churches teach "cultural" doctrine as Biblical doctrine.

Searching the Scriptures for correct doctrine shows "one an approved workman" and is commanded in Scripture.

Many others spend far too much time "straining at a gnat, while swallowing a camel" - splitting hairs over secondary items that are subject to interpretive differences (ex: pre-trib vs. post trib - fun to debate, but should never divide).

Adding "man's rules" as God's rules corrupts Scripture and distorts the message.  Many of the complaints from the world about Believers can be traced directly back to this point.

So, having sound doctrine is vital!  Crossing a creek on a rotten board, even though it looks strong, will get you wet!  Not having sound doctrine is like that rotten board; it leaves a person open to being tossed about by false teachers and preachers who are appearing at an ever increasing rate.  The core beliefs outlined above are agreed upon by many denominations as being the essentials of the Messianic \ Christian faith.
